About the club

Here at Whitchurch Sports and Social Club we have both OUTDOOR and INDOOR Bowls clubs.

Outdoor Bowls

The club has just under 50 members playing a range of social and competitive events.
Leagues are played 4 evenings and one afternoon per week during the season. On Monday its Basingstoke and District Triples of three triples, Tuesday is ladies triples one triple home one away, Wednesday we have three mixed teams playing in the Whitchurch and District league, Thursday afternoon is the Stan Hardman league which is also three mixed triples and on Friday evening is the B.D.B.A mens Rinks league three rinks of four.
We also play friendlies at weekends and club competitions.

Indoor bowls

The club welcomes any new members, whether beginner or experienced. Contact Sue Milton on 07793 744520 or Mick Corden on 07836 364977

We run an Open Evening on Wednesday at 6.30 for 7.00 until 9.00.  Anyone is welcome to come along and try bowls at these sessions.  Bowls can be provided but you will need to wear very flat shoes.  The last session for 2017 will be on 13 December and start again on 10 January 2018.
